Pre-Registration    &
the Associate Diploma

Dance class

Upon commencement of the entry level Cecchetti Ballet status qualification; the Associate Diploma it is a requirement that you must become a "pre-registered member". A pre-registered teacher must enter candidates for examinations within 12 months and complete the requirements for provisional registration within 2 years. For further information, please contact the National Office.
 

Pre-requisites:
 

  • Current First Aid Qualification

  • Current WWCC
     

Candidates will undertake training with a mentor (a senior Cecchetti teacher or examiner) at their own expense. Mentor will be allocated to candidate upon commencement.

 

 

Associate Diploma (Provisional Registration)
 

Outcome: Successful candidates are invited to enrol as Associate Diploma of Cecchetti Ballet Australia Inc. and Cecchetti International – Classical Ballet (CICB) in the year in which their examination was taken. The candidate is entitled to use the letters ‘A.(Dip) C.B.A. – C.I.C.B. and has provisional registration in the Organisation.

Note:

Cecchetti teachers must hold at least a Licentiate qualification in order to be considered as a mentor.

Cecchetti Mentors are required to submit a checklist annually for all Pre-Registered Member under their guidance. Checklists should be returned to the National Office by December 30th of each year.
